Old Treasures New Love Jewellery Policy

We love collaborating with you to revive your heirloom and pre-loved pieces, reworking them into something new that you can wear today and honour the sentiments of the past. Whether it’s a special piece passed down from a loved one, or a bygone piece of yours you want to wear in a new way, Old Treasures New Love is the perfect service for revitalizing your jewellery for years to come.

STEP 1: Consultation

Book a consultation with your treasure expert to show and describe the old pieces you want to rework. This consultation can take place virtually or from the jewel porch and is free of charge for your first visit! Please note: Bringing in any material, be it a chain, stone, or producing a sample texture etc. requires a $100 non-refundable deposit that will be deducted from the final total. This must be stated in initial consultation.

STEP 2: Bring In Your Old Treasures

Bring your items in (or ship them safely from afar) so that we may properly assess them to understand the work at hand and give you the most accurate estimate for your project.

STEP 3: Assessment & Estimate

We will provide you with values of your gold, details about stones, a full quote and breakdown of the work plan. At this time we will assess all potential risk to your items so that you can make the most informed and educated decision on if you would like to move forward or not. Please note: Anice will not alter any piece without the client’s signed consent of this document. Once the full risk has been communicated and the client has signed off, Anice is not responsible for any damages to any of the client’s materials.

STEP 4: Design & Renderings:

Design time! When all design details have been confirmed for the new project we will move to the visual computerized rendering stage. This is the process in which we create a series of digital images using CAD (Computer Aided Design) to illustrate what the final piece will look like. It’s an exciting way to confirm the design and make any final adjustments before moving into production! There will be a rendering fee of $100 + tax (a non-refundable amount to cover the work time but deducted from total cost if and when the project is completed.)

STEP 5: Design Adjustments

If the client has changed their mind and wants design adjustments after the first rendering, requiring updated models, there will be a charge of $100 per model and this will be added on to the total cost. If there are any new materials required for your design, there is also a non-refundable deposit of $100 + tax required before we bring them in for your viewing.

STEP 6: Approve Design & Pay Deposit

When confirmation for go ahead is received, we require a 50% deposit to begin production. Our ring production timeline is 2-3 weeks from the date the deposit is paid. Rush orders are possible, but are subject to an additional charge that will be determined when the order is placed. We reserve the right to deny rush orders, depending on project complexity and time availability.

STEP 7: Relax

You go about your daily life while we work hard at creating your masterpiece!

STEP 8: Pick Up Jewels and Pay Remaining Balance

When the piece is completed, we will contact you to come try it on and pick it up safely from our jewel porch! At that time, we will process the second payment on the remaining owed. THEN: you will dance off into the sunset with a truly special Old Treasure brimming with New Love!

Important Information For After Pick Up

*Anice takes responsibility for initial sizing charges if a ring needs to be resized. Any sizing change after the initial pick up will be covered by the client.

*Anice commits to producing a quality product. If the piece(s) require repair within the first 6 months post pick-up, Anice will cover the cost.

*Anice is not responsible for a lost or stolen item once it is in the customer’s possession.
