How to Transition your Summer Jewels into Fall

Jewel Babes,

As summer comes to a close, we hold onto the few nice days that are left to flaunt that summer wardrobe, before packing it all up storing the bright colours and denim shorts away for the winter. But if there is one thing we can assure you, it’s that the jewels you’ve been wearing throughout the warmer days don’t have to be packed up and thrown to the back of your closet - they have many more days ahead of them… and we’re here to tell you how to make the transition.

LAYERS LAYERS LAYERS….

The thing about jewellery, is often times people wait for low cut tops or light layers to pile on the jewels. We say, why not wear your jewels as if they’re a part of the clothes? There’s very few looks that we love more than a high neck top with layered jewellery over top. Instead of taking away from the cut of the top, these layers actually emphasize the necklace and add interest to any look. Those necklace you’ve been rocking this summer? Keep em’ coming.

BIGGER THE BETTER….

Who says large, statement earrings are for summer? If you ask us, nothing says “chic” like tucking your hair into a jacket or turtle neck and allowing your large hoops or cool, statement earrings to be the focal point. Anyone who feels like they’re unsure about rocking large earrings needs to incorporate this look into their fall wardrobe, because with the big coats and sweaters, it feels like the earrings are less prominent but just add the right amount of cool to any occasion.
